Returning to the world of spreadsheets and databases after a long break, I needed a lot of help. There is so much information in this book that at first, as I tried to read it, it was overwhelming, but I am finding the answers to a lot of information that was completely new in Office 2016 and Windows 10, and I am glad I decided to order it. As a reference to dip into I am finding it most useful.I
This is just what i needed after being out of the workforce for three years! My old job had a specific computer program so when my new job required me to be sharp on these programs i was a bit rusty!! But this guide made it easy to access whatever i needed to refresh my skills and in no time I was back on top of my game!! It seemed to be able to answer all the questions i had too! I highly recommend it!
As a Senior, I was worried about learning Microsoft Office 2016, but "Office 2016 for Dummies" removed any anxiety.
I returned this book. There were very few screen shots. The instructions would say to click some area which I usually could not find. I did not find the book helpful at all.
My main complaint is that it does not give examples to help the reader learn new skills. Moreover, the graphics are such poor quality that it makes them difficult to read, much less reproduce for practice. Also, some of the sections are just poorly written and hard to understand, for example the chapter on Templates.That being said, the book contains lots of information and would be a great resource to someone who already has a basic grasp of the programs and wants to learn a new feature. However, I would not call this a book for Dummies as it is not easy to comprehend.
Just bought this book it is already help me solve 2 problems that I was having trouble figuring out. This book is already worth the money it costs. I recommend it to anyone who needs answers.
Very good source has enough of each part of Office 2016 to solve all normal issues. Great learning tool.
Bought as a gift for my mother and she uses it often. Probably should have bought one for myself.
