A good dictionary with English to Spanish and Spanish to English translations. There are common Spanish abbreviations and a single generalized conjugation table with the verbs hablar, comer, and vivir. The dictionary is easy to follow and good for a Spanish class. It is not an all encompassing dictionary but has the important words... as far as I know so far.
This dictionary has met my needs so far considering I'm currently teaching myself at the beginner/intermediate level. It has had all of the words I've searched for (with only one exception) and contains helpful conjugation and number lists. Aside from a few faded definitions, the quality of the book was great for such a low price. I recommend this dictionary to anyone who is looking to get started learning or to build on their knowledge of the Spanish language. For more complicated words, another reference work may be necessary.
I got this for my 11 year old daughter. I thought it was small enough to fit nicely in her already full backpack. It’s very thick which means it must have a lot of words. Which might be what you are looking for- but if your kid is like mine and learning colors and days of the week- you might want a smaller more backpack friendly simple version.
Easy to use. Doesn't have all words (Spanish or English), but gets the job done. Sometimes you have to choose a synonym in your language to find a comparable word in the other language.
It is very small and does not have as many words as a more advanced person would probably want; however, it is ideal for a beginning Spanish speaker. I am in a starters class in college and so far it has every word I have needed to look up. It includes a Spanish - English translation and a English - Spanish translation which is very important for a beginner. Overall I am very pleased but moving forward as I continue to progress I will probably need a more advanced book.

This Spanish/English dictionary is pocket size and is a great reference for someone studying Spanish in class or at home.I use it in conjunction with my "Easy Spanish" book my McGraw and use it to reference new words or unknown words during my self-study. I am taking a Spanish class so needed a Spanish and English dictionary. Overall this dictionary is great! It's helping me learn new works without having to use the internet. It has a great section in the back for abbreviations, numbers and such. The one downside is I have looks for a few words and my instructor has used others instead of the one in the dictionary. They are technically a direct translation, but not something you would say.Overall, great buy!
It's simple enough to understand and read... I purchased this for my boyfriend and now father of my son, because our kids will be speaking both english and spanish and it's helped him brush up on his spanish pretty decently; not to mention it was sold a fair price.
